As such students that successfully complete FETAC accredited courses at IBC are eligible to progress to higher third level institutions within Ireland or abroad. Infinity Business College offers courses accredited by the following internationally recognised accreditation bodies: The Institute of Accounting Technicians of Ireland (IATI), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA), the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS).

Q - What are the average living costs for Dublin?

A - 10,000 per year and upwards. This is calculated as follows - 4,500 for accommodation, 1,500 for travel and 4,000 for food and clothing.

Q - Will Infinity Business College assist in locating accommodation in Dublin?

A - Yes, Infinity Business College can assist in the location of accommodation in Dublin. We can place you in a host family initially or assist you in locating suitable rented accommodation. We may arrange accommodation during the visa application process or on request. Requests must be submitted to the College at least three weeks prior to your arrival in Ireland.

Q - Who is a home student?

A - A home student is considered to be someone who has been studying for at least 12 months in Ireland.

Q - What is the meaning of full-time study?

A - According to the Irish Department of Justice 15 hours tuition per week is required to be considered a full-time student. All of the courses at IBC are offered on a full-time basis.

On the payment of tuition fees online email info@ibcollege.com stating that your tuition fees have been paid, and quote your student reference number.

Q - What happens if my visa gets refused?

A - Students must inform IBC immediately, so that help and advice may be given to appeal against the decision. It is a condition of enrolment with IBC that student visas must be appealed as visas can be rejected for simple reasons - such as the omission of a required document. On the submission of same on appeal a visa can be granted. Should the student visa appeal be rejected your tuition fees will be refunded in full less registration fees on receipt by IBC of the visa refusal documents issued by the Irish Embassy of your country. If a negative visa decision is not appealed tuition fees are refunded at 50% of the tuition fee.

Q - What happens if I commence a course and later decide to change Colleges?

A - Students that commence a course at IBC and subsequently decide they wish to pursue a new course of study in a different college are not entitled to a refund of fees.

Q - How long is the student visa administrative process at IBC?

A - If you submit your educational qualification certificates, details of work experience, copy of passport, 2 passport size photographs, and a completed IBC application form with the registration fee and course fees then you can receive the necessary Acceptance Letter within 10 working days.

Q - Do I need to get registered with the appropriate examining body prior to my arrival at the college?

A - It is advised but not compulsory. You may register on arrival at the college.

Q - Is it possible to work part-time during my studies?

A - Part-time work is possible as long as it does not interfere with your college studies. All courses at IBC are included on the Internationalisation Register for the purposes of access to part-time employment. You are entitled to work on a full-time basis during academic holidays.

Q - Can I get help with my English?

A - English classes are available for anybody that enrols on an IBC course at IBC College. As a high level of English is vital for exam success English classes are included in all of the business courses.

Q - What if I decide to change my course?

A - On application and approval from the Registrar you may change courses. However, if the tuition fee for the preferred course is higher, you must pay the difference. If you decide to change to a course priced at a lower tuition fee, your original fee remains non-refundable.

Q - Does the college offer internet access?

A - Yes, broadband internet access at IBC is free of charge when the IT lab is available during college hours.

Q - Will I receive career guidance?

A - Course directors are always happy to advise students. Key academic personnel are available to guide and advise students on the best course of study. Professional bodies issue monthly or quarterly news bulletins directly to registered students on current topics concerning job prospects and academic editorials.

Q - Does IBC provide work experience?

A - Yes, IBC will help in securing work experience if required as part of a course run by IBC. Depending on the course in question students may have to take part in a simulated work experience module.

A - Yes IBC offer scholarships to students that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement or experience severe hardship.
